HAVENS v. F. C. C., 02-1315 (D.C. Cir. 6-7-2007)
Warren C. Havens, Appellant v. Federal Communications Commission,Appellee.
No. 02-1315.United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit.
Filed On: June 7, 2007.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: This case is unpublished as indicated by the issuing court.]
Consolidated with 02-1316.
ORDER
Upon consideration of court's order to show cause filed May 4, 2007, and appellee's response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the order to show cause be discharged. It is
FURTHER ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that these consolidated cases be administratively terminated upon the docket of the court. Such action is without prejudice to the reopening of the cases by any party at any time upon the filing of a motion identifying the issues remaining to be litigated before the court.
For the information of the parties, an administrative termination allows the court to clear its statistical docket of older cases in which no activity before the court is expected in the near future. It also relieves the court of the need to monitor the status of such cases and the parties of the responsibility to submit periodic reports. No mandate of the court issues in connection with an administrative termination.Page 1
