New Jersey ss: The State of New Jersey to John Anderson Esquire one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Monmouth Greeting: Willing for certain Caus... to be certified of a certain Plaint before you levied and brought by Elisha Walton against John Holmes and Solomon Ketcham (as is said) It is commanded you, that the Plaint aforesaid with all Things touching the same before the Justices of the Supreme Court at Trenton on the first Tuesday in September next under your Seal distinctly & openly you send without Delay and this Writ, that therein may be done what of Right and according to the Law and Customs of this State of New Jersey ought to be done. Witness David Brearley Esquire Chief Justice at Trenton, the twelfth Day of May, in the Year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and eighty one.
