Chapter 22:
Section: 4:22-44: Arrests with, without warrant.
4:22-44. Any municipal humane law enforcement officer, chief humane law enforcement officer, humane law enforcement officer of a county society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, sheriff, undersheriff, or police officer may:
a. Make arrests for violations of article 2 of chapter 22 of Title 4 of the Revised Statutes; and
b. Arrest without warrant any person found violating the provisions of article 2 of chapter 22 of Title 4 of the Revised Statutes in the presence of such humane law enforcement officer, sheriff, undersheriff, or police officer.
