Chapter 25:
Section: 27:25-5e: Compensation, paratransit workers, commercial vehicle travel restrictions; definition.
1. For each hour of time worked during a commercial vehicle travel restriction for inclement weather issued by the Commissioner of Transportation, the New Jersey Transit Corporation shall ensure that eligible personnel are paid wages at a rate of not less than 150 percent of the individual's regular hourly wage. Eligible personnel shall only receive the enhanced compensation pursuant to this section for hours worked during the actual period of the commercial vehicle travel restriction, as determined by the Commissioner of Transportation.
For purposes of this section, "eligible personnel" means an operator of an Access Link paratransit vehicle who is actively engaged in operating an Access Link paratransit vehicle.
