New Jersey Statutes, Title: 10, CIVIL RIGHTS

    Chapter 5:

      Section: 10:5-9.1: Enforcement of laws against discrimination in public housing and real property.

          1. The Division on Civil Rights in the Department of Law and Public Safety shall enforce the laws of this State against discrimination in housing built with, or leased with the assistance of, public funds or public assistance, pursuant to any law, and in real property, as defined in the law hereby supplemented, because of race, religious principles, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, familial status, disability, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, nationality, sex, gender identity or expression or source of lawful income used for rental or mortgage payments. The said laws shall be so enforced in the manner prescribed in the act to which this act is a supplement.
