Section: 43:16a-11.7a: Veteran status determined for military service credit.
6. The Adjutant General of the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs shall be responsible for determining whether any person seeking to be considered a "veteran" under section 1 of P.L.1983, c.391 (C.43:16A-11.7), for the purpose of purchasing military service credit, meets the criteria set forth therein and adjudicating an appeal from any person disputing this determination. The determination of the Adjutant General shall be binding upon the board of trustees.
