Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED, by the Council and General Assembly of this State, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That it shall and may be lawful for any person coming into this state from any other of the Uniuted States, and having a temporary residence in this state, to bring with him or her, any slave or servant, and on removal to take such slave or servant out of this state, any thing in the act to which this is a supplement to the contrary notwithstanding.
