    Chapter 14:

      Section: 45:14-67.5: Specialty pharmacy to comply with standards for treatment of hemophilia.

          2. Each specialty pharmacy licensed pursuant to P.L.2003, c.280 (C.45:14-40 et seq.) that provides pharmacy services to an individual with hemophilia shall, when those services include treatment services for bleeding episodes associated with hemophilia, comply with the standards for a provider as provided in subsection a. of section 1 of P.L.2001, c.121 (C.26:2S-10.1). A specialty pharmacy that provides pharmacy services that include treatment services for bleeding episodes associated with hemophilia that fails to comply with the requirements of this section or the standards provided in subsection a. of section 1 of P.L.2001, c.121 (C.26:2S-10.1) shall be subject to such administrative penalties or disciplinary action as the State Board of Pharmacy shall prescribe by regulation.

As used in this section, "specialty pharmacy" means the service created to manage the handling and service requirements of specialty pharmaceuticals, including dispensing, infusion services, distribution, reimbursement, case management, and other services specific to patients with rare or chronic conditions involving or related to hemophilia.
